Celebrate the fashion of Beauty

don’t forget to love Akron fashion

So, I’m pretty sure I want to just pick up and move to NYC every day, but especially during Fashion Week… Luckily, I didn’t have to be in New York to enjoy Fashion’s Night Out, I got to enjoy festivities right here in C. Falls.

M.C. Hair and NOTO boutique teamed up to host the Celebrate the fashion of Beauty event at Studio MC last night. There was a fantastic turn out, local fashionistas of all ages came out to enjoy an evening of shopping, cocktails, makeovers and music.

There might not have been any celeb spotting, but other than that, the event seemed just as swanky and exclusive as some of the parties going on in big cities. Far from your typical experience going to events at the Riverfront… Guests were greeted with valet parking & a photo shoot on the red carpet, followed by receiving  Bumble and bumble goodie-filled gift bags, shopping & enjoying some wine and appetizers. It was about more than the clothes, you had to get your whole “look” together. So the night of fashion didn’t end after shopping NOTO’s fall clothing essentials, there were also opportunities to have personal beauty consultants do your hair and makeup. And aside from being a spectacular evening, it was all for a good cause. All proceeds went to supporting ACCESS Women’s Shelter to support homeless women and children in the Akron community.

The fabulous ladies that put the evening's festivities together

If all that didn’t get you pumped up for Fashion Week, I’ll leave you with this year’s FNO promo video with the Glee cast performing, “Fashion,” by David Bowie for Vogue. Love it. Enjoy : )
